BARRIQUES and other PREMIUM oak barrels for wine, whisky or beer are hand-made using the traditional techniques of the Polish Cooper Master, following a tradition spanning back from 1773 across many generations. A high standard of finishing guarantees that they'll meet the requirements expected for storing drinks. These classic barrels for maturing wine or whisky, made of oak timber and seasoned under natural conditions for at least one year (oak timber seasoned for longer, e.g. 2 years, is available on request). The barrels are produced from 120 year old oak from Pomerania in the north of Poland, and have a natural grain of 2-4 growth rings per cm. The barrel's staves are fire- bent and are burned out from the inside with varying degrees of intensity (gentle, mild, strong etc). The barrelhead may also be burned out too. The barrels' hoops are made of galvanized steel and, in the case of the smaller capacity, brass or stainless steel. As one of only a few made in Poland, barrels are specifically crafted if they are to be used only for storing beer. In this case, special 'brewery wax' is used, which creates a sealed layer inside the barrel preventing direct- and unwanted- contact between the beer and the oak wood. For these beer kegs, professional beer taps made of precious steel can be added. Additionally, the barrel may be made of thickened staves, similar to those used in old fashioned barrels that were used for transportation. The standard barrel / keg is made entirely ecologically without the use of any glues, impregnates or paints. Staining and/or impregnation is also possible upon request, as is logo burning, engraving etc. Available capacities range from 0.5L (beer mugs, small barrels suitable for St. Bernard dogs) to over 500L, and even 10,000L.

BARRIQUES, Beczki dębowe PREMIUM - do leżakowania wina, whisky, piwa
High quality oak barrels and tapped kegs for wine, whisky and beer, hand-made using the same traditional techniques of the Polish cooper over many generations. Made only from Polish oak seasoned under natural conditions, the barrels come with blackened hoops made of galvanized steel and are coated with a special matt paint that does not react with lightly stained wood. They come equipped with massive, hand-made, wooden taps and are sealed with a natural cork. We can improve them for you with a rinsing and an application of sulfuratine that removes accumulated tanning agents and other substances that could effect the taste of the drinks contained within.
Kegs and barrels available with capacities from 5 to 300L.

Pouring kegs (barrels with a tap and base), made of oak with a variety of finishes and fitted with wooden and metal taps. In the standard package all barrels are sealed with brewery wax, creating a sealed layer inside the barrel that prevents direct- and unwanted- contact between the beer and the oak wood. For beer and home-brew, threaded taps and bungs may also be fitted for protection against gas pop-out. The barrels may also be made of thickened staves, similar to those used in the old fashioned barrels that were used for transportation. All are available on a low deck-chair or cross base. An unlimited range of decorations are also possible, such as burnt-out engraving and/or logo or informational painting. Barrels available with capacities ranging from 5 to 30L.
